ARLINGTON BUILDING & DESIGN
Arlington Building Corporation is the construction division of the Arlington Building & Design family of companies, which has a proud 30-year history of serving South Florida. Our sister company, Wallcraft Custom, is one of the region’s most respected painting and epoxy specialists. Together, the Arlington family of companies provides experienced, detail-oriented construction services that meet and exceed expectations.
Bill began his construction career in the late 1980s working as his father’s assistant on job sites. Here he built and refined his construction skills including painting, wallpaper, drywall repairs, and much more. As his reputation as an expert painter grew, he founded Arlington Building and Design, a construction firm dedicated to providing expert construction services to clients throughout South Florida’s Atlantic Coast. Bill founded Wallcraft Custom in 1993 as part of the Arlington family of companies. Wallcraft Custom is a leading painting and epoxy company specializing in custom homes and high-end commercial spaces. Under Bill’s leadership, the firm quickly grew into one of the most recognizable and trusted painting contractors in South Florida. Today, Wallcraft Custom has over 150 employees on staff and serves more than a dozen different building contractors in the area.
Starting in 2005, Bill decided to get back into the building realm of the construction industry and began land development and home building outside of Asheville, North Carolina. To further serve the Southeast Florida market, Bill created Arlington Building Corporation, a truly multi-generational construction enterprise that is built on providing superior service and exceptional build quality. Bill and his family take pride in every construction project they undertake and are honored to help their clients realize their dream buildings.
After attending the University of Florida, Brett pursued a full time career in construction. He brings an open mind to every project, providing fresh insights and an unwavering commitment to excellence. In his current role, Brett expertly manages a wide array of projects, overseeing daily operations and comprehensive project coordination, where he tirelessly works to ensure seamless execution, including detailed job scheduling, strategic planning, sales management and operational oversight. Brett creates precise timelines that align with project milestones, ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule. He collaborates with trade partners to define project objectives and successful resource allocation as well as ensure that all aspects of project execution are coordinated, facilitating smooth workflows.
Brett’s ability to navigate complex construction landscapes allows him to transform challenging scenarios into successful outcomes. He maintains open lines of communication among team members and trades, fostering a collaborative environment where everyone is informed and engaged. Brett is passionate about helping families create the homes of their dreams and looks forward to working closely with clients to bring their unique vision to life.
Having called South Florida his home for more than 40 years, Joey considers himself a native Floridian and remains personally invested in being a proud part of a building team that contributes greatly to Southeast Florida’s reputation as the ideal location to live, work and play.
As Arlington’s VP of Operations for 22 years and counting, Joey is responsible for overseeing the firm’s sales, marketing and quality control teams, working closely with them to ensure that the quality of each client’s experience exceeds their expectations.
Michael had an interest in construction early on in his career. He attended Palm Beach Community College and was a member of the IBEW Local 323 out of West Palm Beach, Florida. He later worked for Frankel Enterprises overseeing exterior building renovations. In April of 2001, his new home-building career started with Toll Brothers, a Fortune 500 Company building large luxury estate line and custom homes. He quickly moved up within the Florida East Division to Director of Production and Quality where he reported directly to the Division President. His responsibilities were to oversee all production needs from the time the home entered into the Agreement of Sale through the home’s warranty period. On average Michael was overseeing a team of over 60 trade partners and had 40 direct employees reporting to him from different departments. Prior to departing Toll Brothers, Michael was overseeing 375 homes in production. Michael also worked hand-in-hand with other department heads such as those from Sales, Design Studio, Land Development, Land Acquisition, & Purchasing where he and his counterparts discussed high-level business strategies based on a wide range of market conditions. With Michaels vast knowledge & experience Bill approached Michael to become part of the Arlington Building Corporation Team. Michael's keen eye for quality and proven track record will definitely help make an impact within the industry.
